May you leave each class having found balance of knowing yourself a little more and a sense of alignment on and off the mat.

Why yoga?
Yoga is personal. Each person has a unique experience when they come to Yoga. For some it's more about the physical, for others it's mental and at its greatest it's an alliance of the whole being. Yoga teaches discipline, stability and freedom of movement and breath. It is a guide, a navigation, that when encompassed, serves all areas of life on and off the mat. There are few movement disciplines that incorporate such skills, but Yoga is one of them. So why Yoga? Give yourself the time, commitment and effort to find out what Yoga can do for you.
Why me?
Well, a few things to consider. If you want to learn yoga in a traditional yet non-traditional sense then my teaching style is for you. I incorporate unique and holistic methods that are in constant evolution. Think of fundamental postures as the framework, movement the as the electrical wiring and breath-work as the foundation that supports it all.
My offering extends to inquisitive beginners (my fav!), regular yogis who want to try something new and anyone who just wants to go with the flow. I am ever the student, always the guinea pig, trialling and experimenting to expand my knowledge.

A little bit about my path to Yoga...
I came to yoga at a pivatol point. Walking through the studio doors a
lost and vulnerable young woman in search of answers at a delicate time in my life. I entered the class, barefooted and apprenhensive, my shoulders weighed down by expectations and heart curled forward with fear. With each softly spoken words of guidance I felt a battle stirring. A resistance of what my body knows to be it's reality, verses the subtle nuances of power being found in exploration of something new.
I walked out of my first class feeling a contradiction of emotions which was later exasperated by physical tension. I contemplated how a yoga class could bring about such depth of thought, I mean, wasn't it supposed to be relaxing? As someone who always puts myself forward as a guinea pig for self-development, I knew I had to go back. I was hooked. Class after class after class, I grew and revolutionised in ways I didn't know I could and needed to.

Change was in progress.
After developing a solid foundation of practice, I delved into other forms of yoga. Just like the three bears, some classes were too fast, to slow or too complicated. I eventually found my rythym which was a combination of specific styles with teachers I admired and resonated with. This led me to seeking out a teaching certification so that I could share my passion with those who are in need of the both the power and beauty that Yoga illuminates.
Client testimonials
I've been attending Nadja's yoga classes virtually since the pandemic and was very impressed with her teaching style. She has a unique way of combining theory, practice and fun. She explains the poses in an easy to understand manner and is very attentive. I like that she encourages everyone to go at their own pace and focus on their own abilities. She has a calming presence. Overall, I highly recommend Nadja's classes for those looking to learn and deepen their yoga practice.

I was having some health issues and a friend recommended I try yoga. I had no prior experience and wasn't able to attend a studio. I got Nadja's details from a friend and it was so wonderful to have attention on my personal situation. She created a course just for me and I walked away with tools I can use every day.

Nadja taught me how to breathe. I know we automatically breathe but she taught me how to properly breathe. I've been breathing wrong for years and it had a huge impact on my nerves. Now I am able to return back to my proper breath to help regulate my anxiety.

I recently attended a beginners yoga course with Nadja and I must say that it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had. She was an incredibly knowledgeable instructor and was able to teach me the basics of yoga in a way that was accessible and enjoyable. I am now a yogi for life and I have Nadja to thank for that. Her teaching style is patient and calming, and she is always ready to answer any questions I have. I highly recommend Nadja to anyone looking to begin their yoga journey. She is an amazing teacher and will certainly help you to become the best possible yogi you can be.
